About Barcode Generator

Barcodes encode short strings of data — a product number, a serial code, an inventory ID — into a pattern of bars that a scanner can read instantly and without typos. Different symbologies exist for different jobs: retail products use EAN-13 or UPC, logistics and internal systems often use CODE128 or CODE39, and pharmacies use Pharmacode. Picking the right format matters because each one accepts a different character set and length.

This generator supports over twenty symbologies: CODE128 (with explicit A/B/C subsets), CODE39, CODE93, EAN-13, EAN-8, the EAN-5/EAN-2 supplements, UPC-A, UPC-E, ITF, ITF-14, MSI and its check-digit variants (MSI-10/11/1010/1110), Codabar, and Pharmacode. For EAN and UPC codes it shows the mod-10 check digit live as you type. You can build a single barcode or a whole batch at once, adjust bar width, height, and whether the human-readable value is printed, then export as a crisp PNG, a scalable vector SVG, a print-ready PDF, or copy the image straight to your clipboard. Bulk mode turns a list of values into a sheet of barcodes in one step.

Everything runs in your browser. The values you type and the barcodes you generate are never uploaded to a server, so the tool works offline once loaded and keeps your product or inventory data private.

How to use Barcode Generator

  1. Choose single or bulk mode

Use the Multiple tab to build barcodes one at a time, or the Bulk tab to paste a list of values and generate them all together.

  2. Pick a format and enter the value

Select a symbology such as CODE128, CODE93, UPC-E, ITF-14, or Codabar, then type the value to encode. Each format accepts a specific character set and length; EAN/UPC codes show their check digit as you type.

  3. Adjust the options

Tune bar width, height, and whether the readable text shows beneath the barcode so it fits your label or packaging.

  4. Generate and export

Generate the barcode, then export it as a PNG or vector SVG, a print-ready PDF, or copy the image to your clipboard. Bulk mode exports the whole batch at once.
